Somebody in payroll forgot to input the automatic drafts to the company bank and 9,000 people, including myself, didn't get paid today like we were supposed to. Sweet huh? At 5:15 today they sent out an email saying they couldn't fix the problem and paper checks will be sent out on Monday....plus they are willing to repay any overdraft fees that may be occurred because of this process. At least they did that, but I think the funniest part of it all was they blamed the shortened work week because of labor day...good thing this wasn't surgery. Can you imagine?
"Oh, I'm sorry ma'am, I forgot to sew that back in....we had a shortened work week ya know"

How stupid are they? It's just like the government when it snows in DC - it's like they've never seen snow before.
That's better than Matt's old work. At one point, they were two pay periods overdue and wouldn't pay overdraft fees or anything like that.
That's crap. If it makes you feel any better, I still haven't gotten paid for work I did from June-July! In fact, I need to send another e-mail about that right now...
Uggghh, well that's not a very nice suprise, is it!?
